This podcast is meant to be both an outlet for my bad attitude, and a place where friends, family, and even perfect strangers can come to bitch about, well, anything really. So, to all of my fellow Pessimistic Pattys, let it be known that you’re welcome here!

A bit more about me:

I live with my partner James on the top floor of a charming greystone in Logan Square and I’m very proud of the life we’ve built here. Among other things, we enjoy spending time in the backyard with our two cats, Misho and Beatrix, making elaborate breakfasts, and hosting dinner parties on our rooftop terrace.

I’m an only child and this is my first time living away from my family. My dad is a recently retired database administrator (don’t worry, I don’t know what that means either) turned woodworking connoisseur, and my mom is a brilliant artist who works primarily in mixed media and acrylic paint. They’re both incredible talents and I credit them for my innate balance of all things technical and creative.

I dabble in fashion, art, and interior design, and utilize all three as vehicles for my own self-expression. I’m morally opposed to intermural sports, I’m afraid of revolving doors, and I believe I’ve already met (and conquered) my archnemesis.
